I have been diagnosed with PCOS when I was 15 years old. For many years I have been prescribed the contraceptive pill as the only solution to help with severe acne and amenorrhea. After having taken the pill for more than 10 years with all the side effects that the pill gives, I decided to inform myself about any potential cure/treatment of PCOS. This is when I start reading about inositol. This supplement has become quite popular in Italy where I lived until a few years ago. Since taking Inofolic Alpha I have regular periods and I no longer suffer from severe acne. I wish this was something that doctors would inform patients about but it is often not the case.
