D-chiro-inositol

Found in these foods: Legumes, fruits, and vegetables. Involved in mediating the action of insulin and aiding healthy ovarian function.

Myo-inositol

Found in these foods: Fruits, beans, grains, and nuts. Involved in messaging for key hormones (e.g. FSH).

Alpha-lactalbumin (whey milk protein)

Found in these foods: Cow’s milk and human breast milk (colostrum). Improves gut microbiome and absorption of certain proteins.

Folic Acid

Found in these foods: Asparagus, Brussel sprouts, spinach, oranges, nuts, beans, peas and fortified breads and cereals. Reduces the incidence of neural tube defects e.g. spina bifida.

I decided to try this after a year of trying to fall pregnant. I have previously had children so this wasn’t my first pregnancy – in fact it would be my 6th! But this time it just wasn’t happening for us. I thought it was due to my age (44). I went to the Dr’s for blood tests and the results showed it was highly that I have polycystic ovaries. I did my research and found this company. I ordered immediately and the order came really quickly. I decided to have the alpha plus as I preferred taking a tablet rather than having a powder. If I could give this more stars, I would. I was a bit dubious having tried a fair few inositol supplements before and not seen any real impact on my cycle length. However, I’ve been taking this for 4 weeks and in that time I ovulated and I had a cycle within “normal” range (previously between 45-60 days). This is perfect for the women who have been told “just lose weight” by the GP and despite a strict diet and regular exercise can’t seem to lose the weight. I’ve felt slimmer, less bloated and lost 2kg! Cannot recommend enough!

Starting these supplements has changed alot for me. Being diagnosed with PCOS ontop of endometriosis seemed like crap. I started inofolic acid about 5 weeks ago and I feel different, in a great way, more energy less bloating. Along side swimming and a GI friendly diet I have also lost 5kg, like it’s completely turned everything around already. (Cannot comment on the period side as back on dienogest) But I feel confident getting my body ready and a better chance to conceive… I hope. These supplements are really great its totally worth a go!

I have taken this for the better part of nearly a year. This is for the high BMI, mis/undiagnosed and insulin resistant gals who cannot tame their cycle and the healthcare system has been as helpful as wet single-ply tissue paper.
