I was diagnosed with PCOS in 2021, at the time only 22 years old. For two years I’d lived miserably – no period in 2 years, gaining weight, skin issues, fast hair growth, even miscarrying at 20 years old and told by a nurse that’s a good thing because I was only young. I was severely depressed, horrible to everyone round me and myself. I didn’t look forward to anything in the future. I went to a GP for a year with no answers or a diagnosis.
